The public awarded 1st prize to the Arnold & Son HMS Lady in Munich. The award was presented during a glittering ceremony on 11th December 2012.
The famous watch exhibition MunichTime took place at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich from the 1st to 3rd of November, where the watch industry presented its novelties to a large audience of connoisseurs. Thousands of watch lovers visited the exhibition and voted for the “Watch of the Year” in 6 different categories. Arnold & Son won the 1st prize in the “Best Luxury Ladies’ Watch” category with the iconic HMS Lady.
The awards were presented during the traditional Watch Gala at the “Aula der Wissenschaften” in Vienna on the 11th of December 2012. The event was attended by distinguished high profile guests and representatives of the prestigious brands being awarded
Arnold & Son is proud to communicate as winner in the category “Best Luxury Ladies” Watch’ the HMS Lady in 18-carat rose gold case with cream colored dial. The case is 34 mm in diameter and houses a hand-wound movement which is only 2.5 mm thick. The HMS Lady is a perfect reflection of traditional classical elegance in the Arnold & Son’s Royal Collection. The Royal Collection is inspired by the timepieces made during the earlier part of John Arnold’s life for King George III and the royal court. 11. Dezember 2012, Wien, Österreich – Die Duomètre Sphérotourbillon von Jaeger- LeCoultre gewinnt den Publikumspreis der zwei Uhrenausstellungen „Munichtime“ & „Viennatime“ in der Kategorie „Große Komplikation“.
Im Rahmen der Siegerehrung in Wien am 11. Dezember nahm Jérôme Lambert, CEO von Jaeger-LeCoultre, den Preis entgegen, der das Vermächtnis von knappen 180 Jahren Innovationsgeist in der Haute Horlogerie ehrt.
Über 10.000 Besucher kamen zur 12. Ausgabe der Viennatime nach Wien und wählten die Uhr des Jahres. Zwei Wochen vorher fand die 5. Ausgabe der Munichtime statt, die mit knapp 11.000 Besuchern ebenfalls ein großer Erfolg war.
