(H) Jaeger-LeCoultre live from the 67th Venice International Film Festival, The Mostra, September 1-11, 2010

Jaeger-LeCoultre live from the 67th Venice International Film Festival,
The Mostra, September 1-11, 2010

Jaeger-LeCoultre, the reference in fine watchmaking, has been a special partner of the Venice International Film Festival, the Mostra, since 2005 – celebrating the 7th Art and gracing the wrists of the greatest stars. This year, the red carpet at this glamorous event in the world of film sparkles with the beauty of exceptional creations from the Manufacture in the Vallée de Joux.

From September 1-11, 2010, the Mostra sees the unveiling of several unique timepieces – an event to which fans and owners of Jaeger-LeCoultre can enjoy exclusive access, thanks to unprecedented multimedia coverage online.

Always at the cutting edge of innovation in Haute Horlogerie, Jaeger-LeCoultre already revolutionised the digital world in 2009, launching the first and most acclaimed watchmaking course on iPhone; in 2010, QR codes for access to multimedia content and the first-ever webcast live from the Salon de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in January 2010.

As of September 1, Jaeger-LeCoultre has been featuring unprecedented live coverage, straight from the Mostra. Highlights of this special coverage include the celebration of Métiers d’Art of two exceptional timepieces, the
Rose Blanche, a perfect example of the finest jewellery creation, which premiered on the elegant wrist of Margaret Made at the opening night of the Mostra on September 1; and the Master Grande Tradition Grande Complication to be unveiled at the Jaeger-LeCoultre Night on September 7.

This piece in particular will delight grande complication enthusiasts, as much for its mechanism as for the signs of the zodiac meticulously miniaturised in enamel. An article linked and video revealing the secrets of this art will be available in the
LeClub Blog on September 7, including an exclusive interview with Miklos Merckzel, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s enamel expert.

Besides these insights into watchmaking skills, cinephiles and red carpet watchers are able to keep up with all the Festival highlights in real time.
Facebook’s Jaeger-LeCoultre – The Official Page showcases exclusive access to the Mostra via a dedicated “Mostra” tab, containing all the day’s photos and video coverage.

As befits an event of such richness, news updates are also broadcast all day on
YouTube and, for the first time, on Twitter – the “real-time” platform par excellence. Each day, the Brand’s official YouTube channel is showing ‘Today in Venice’ on YouTube, along with all the latest news from the red carpet. Jaeger-LeCoultre also invites all its friends to follow the coverage with Twitter, on jaegerlecoultre.

So stay tuned to the Mostra live with Jaeger-LeCoultre from September 1-11... As if you were there!
